Library Services Matter in Hunt Club
Surveys put out by the Hunt Club Community Association

Recently the Ottawa Public Library (OPL) Board approved a report that could end library services at our Hunt Club Riverside Park Community Centre. The proposal that was approved by the Board during their 13 November 2018 meeting is to remove the kiosk machine (that dispenses books and DVD's) and hold lockers from our community centre once the current equipment reaches the "end of its service life".

If you have not yet done so, please complete our first survey expressing your views on the Ottawa Public Library Services at the Hunt Club Riverside Park Community Centre

Our community association invited staff from the OPL to attend our monthly meeting this past February 4th, in order to discuss this motion. Thanks to Councillor Brockington's public advertising, it was a very well attended meeting with a powerful outcome: A partnership has been forged with the OPL, SEOCHC, HCCA and Councillor Brockington to work together on strategies to preserve current and enhance future library services offered to our Hunt Club community residents.

The intent of our second survey is to gather further data from community members, in order to share it with staff from the Ottawa Public Library (OPL). We are looking to increase library services currently offered in our community; your participation in completing this survey will help us when working with OPL staff.
