Merry Dairy Ice Cream Fundraiser
Mar 22, 2026 - By HCCA & GetGrowing TeamThe Hunt Club Community Association (HCCA) is raising funds to support the ongoing costs of GetGrowing Hunt Club — a food security program with roots right here in the neighbourhood.
We believe that growing your own food is something anyone can do, and that a little support goes a long way. Since 2020, we’ve been putting seedlings, seeds, and know-how into the hands of residents who want to grow fresh vegetables right in their own backyard. Over 1,200 kits have found their way into our community, and each year the garden keeps getting bigger.

April 15 – May 15, 2026
Pick your Merry Dairy ice cream pints, offering dairy and vegan (non-dairy) flavours!
$2 from each ice cream pint and $4 from each recipe book sold supports HCCA and the GetGrowing Hunt Club program.

The Merry Dairy is a popular nut-free ice cream shop and truck in Ottawa, Ontario, located in the Hintonburg neighborhood. It is known for serving Midwestern-style frozen custard, premium hard-scoop ice cream, and soft serve, along with vegan and gluten-free options. All Merry Dairy products are peanut, tree nut and sesame-free!
