What is GetGrowing Hunt Club?
This project began in 2020 as a mission to share resources and knowledge so that residents can grow food in their own backyard. GetGrowing Hunt Club is helping local residents grow nutritious food by supporting and encouraging vegetable gardening. Every year, we give away seedlings, seeds and salad bowls to help our community grow fresh vegetables. Since the program began, we have distributed over 1200 kits in our community.
NOTE: With limited resources, we are only able to serve residents in the Hunt Club community. To check if you are in the area we serve, please refer to the map below.
May 16th, 2026, 12:30–2:30pm
We will distribute the kits outside of the Hunt Club Riverside Park Community Centre on Saturday May 16. Registration required. If there are any additional kits leftover they will be handed out after 2:30pm
For residents of Ashgrove co-ops, a volunteer will deliver your kit directly to your door.
