Spring Buckthorn Removal Work Bee Scheduled at Paul Landry Park

The Hunt Club Community Association is pleased to support the Friends of Paul Landry Park in hosting a Spring Buckthorn Removal Work Bee on Saturday, June 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Paul Landry Park. A rain date has been scheduled for Sunday, June 14.

Community members are invited to participate in the removal of invasive Common Buckthorn seedlings, mature trees, and other non-native plant species that have been encroaching on the park’s natural landscape. The initiative aims to restore and promote a healthy ecosystem by encouraging the growth of native plant species.

Volunteers are welcome to attend for any portion of the event. Participation from residents plays a key role in preserving the environmental health and long-term sustainability of this valued community green space.
