Annual General Meeting

1. Round table introductions were made of those in attendance.
2. Approval of the agenda and the November 3, minutes was given.
3. President Audrey Bélanger gave her report.
4. AGM official part: Treasurer gave the end of year report
New board for 2026 year was elected (all positions were acclaimed):

Short term priorities were discussed
5. Councillor Brockington gave his report.
There was discussion regarding the upcoming Joint Committee meeting of the Housing and Planning and Rural and Agricultural Affairs committees on December 17 (at 9:30 a.m. at City Hall) concerning the City’s new Zoning Bylaws. In particular, Andrei Grushman presented a summary of various delegations that were being prepared to support Councillor Brockington’s upcoming motion to request that the zoning proposed for the McCarthy meadows and the Airport Parkway woods, be reverted back to that proposed in Draft 1 of the new zoning bylaws, as opposed to that of DR (Development Reserve), as currently proposed. The delegations will include the HCCA (Andrei Grushman), the RPCA (Dave Coyle), FCA and Greenspace Alliance (Paul Johnanis), OSEAN (Mireille Trent).
