What is HCCA Doing?

Once again, this year HCCA is offering multiple opportunities to help make our green community, which includes McCarthy Woods and the Southern Nature Corridor to the Rideau River, even greener.

The Stream Watch group helps by taking observations of our natural watershed, part of the Rideau.

June and September, we are partnering with Ecology Ottawa to provide free tree saplings to homeowners in the Hunt Club and Riverside Park communities.

Helping the greening of our community by creating habitats for local pollinator bees and butterflies.

Local residents can register to receive a seed/seedling kit, to grow their own food.

Annual Park Cleanups

Every Fall and Spring we head out to collect garbage from our pathways and green spaces in our Parks. Supplies will be provided on site for volunteers. Follow us on Facebook to get notified for the next cleanup, or check the Event section!
